Sam Loyd wrote that people all over the world laughed for such a long time looking at the grotesque shapes of horses obtained. More than a billion copies of the puzzle were sold.
Second Autumn Riddle: solution

Let's reveal the solution of the second Autumn Riddle. The proposed quiz was:
After printing the picture, carefully cut the six pieces out, and then reassemble them into the best possible picture of a horse!
So, what is the solution?
It is a famous puzzle, the Pony puzzle, created by Sam Loyd (1841-1911). The six black pieces are only a trick and a trap. As a matter of fact, the pieces must be placed in order to form a white horse inside, as the picture shows.
